Biography
Janine Menhennet is among the top plaintiffs’ employment lawyers in San Diego, California. Ms. Menhennet is highly specialized in complex wage and hour litigation and has extensive experience seeking to uphold employees’ rights which often get cast aside in favor of an employer’s bottom line. Her experience includes employees who were not paid CA minimum wage, the prevailing wage rate, overtime pay, vacation pay, regular rate of pay, mileage or business expense reimbursement, bonus payments or commissions, and/or denied meal and rest breaks.
Ms. Menhennet has a lengthy career in both state and federal court, at the trial and appellate level. Ms. Menhennet is experienced in managing all phases of litigation through inception through class certification, motions for summary judgment and summary adjudication, and trial. Ms. Menhennet has prepared and argued appellate briefs in state and federal court on wage and hour issues involving California law. Notably, Ms. Menhennet was Jeopardy Champion in 1997.
