Biography
Experienced trial attorney, Jennifer B. Cottis, is among the top plaintiffs’ employment attorneys in California. Ms. Cottis is experienced in all aspects of employment law including wrongful termination of employment and retaliation, discrimination, sexual harassment, and wage and hour litigation.
Ms. Cottis has been successfully practicing law and trying cases for nearly 25 years. Ms. Cottis handles employment cases from initiation to post trial. Ms. Cottis has successfully tried cases by jury and bench. One of her most significant trial accomplishments is a jury verdict in 2009. Hawkins v. Kmart Corp. et al, Riverside County Superior Court, Case No. RIC462322. After six weeks of trial in this age discrimination case, Ms. Cottis obtained a $25.9 million verdict. Ms. Cottis also recently obtained a favorable verdict for a Plaintiff in a wage and hour bench trial.
